I create rules to filter e-mail to their respective folders, reducing time spent sorting through and I have 2 rules for email communication:
1) If I’m required to respond, send “To” me;
2) If it’s information only, then “Copy” to me.
Using those 2 rules, and the filters, means I only need to check the ‘copied to’ folder now and again and can prioritise accordingly with the main e-mails.
I use categories too so I know where I’m up to with messages and who else is involved.
