Reprogram your thought process to make sure that you RESPOND rather than REACT.

Reacting many times includes an emotional component. Responding means that you have taken responsibility, and are an active participant in your own success.

When setting boundaries, you can employee the idea of RESPONDING, sharing what will work and not work for you, and communicating what you can and can’t do in a professional way.
