Selling yourself may not always involve saying something.
Instead, consider part of selling yourself as being in places where you and your useful work can be noticed. Participating is a success strategy.
Showing up at meetings, volunteering with causes that matter to you, raising your hand to help. Offering to help. Arriving early for events. Staying late to help clean up.
All of these are ways of being noticed.
One caveat – all this must be sincere, rather than manipulative. So, show up where it matters to you.
What other ways have you observed go-getters being noticed?
