Before you hit the keyboard, ask yourself, what is the best possible way to communicate on this issue?
There are times when emailing just doesn’t cut it. And too many people try to make email “dialogue.” Email is not dialog. It is a one way information dump.
So – when dialogue is needed, email is NOT. Forget the smiley face; instead use your smiling face!
