Email someone’s boss. OK, maybe you think I’m crazy, but hang with me…
Here’s your challenge: Look back on the past few days and remember something someone did that was remarkable, over and above, helpful, or otherwise worthy of acknowledgement. Then email his or her boss with specific detail about why it was noteworthy. Short and sweet.
No, you don’t need to copy the person. Yes, it can be someone at a higher level than you.
Do it for the person. Not for you.
